The Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is France’s second-busiest airport outside Paris, serving the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region and the glamorous French Riviera. 

 

Located just a few kilometres from Nice city centre and within easy reach of Monaco, the airport Nice Côte d'Azur (IATA NCE / ICAO LFMN) features two main passenger terminals and dedicated infrastructures for business aviation and helicopter operations.

VIP Catering Delivery Service

For your VIP catering delivery at Nice Airport, the process is as follows:

1. Pre-ordering: our catering team prepares the menu, coordinates with the aircraft arrival/departure slot, and confirms the specific FBO or handling agent on-site.

2. On-site delivery: the catering load is delivered via secure airside access, cleared through customs/handling procedures, and loaded directly onto the aircraft or held in the FBO lounge until boarding.

3. Guest service: if required, the catering team can also serve clients in the VIP lounge, coordinate with the meet-&-greet host, and manage dietary preferences, luxury touches (champagne, plating, bespoke table-setting) and timing aligned with ground-handling operations.

4. Heli-transfer coordination: if guests arrive or depart via helicopter, the catering delivery can be scheduled to correspond with the helicopter lounge or the dedicated heliport area at the airport, ensuring seamless transition from aircraft to heli and minimal wait time.

Peak season and timing considerations

The peak season at Nice Airport typically spans the spring through early autumn months, with the greatest traffic in July and August. For example, in July-August 2024, almost 3.46 million passengers passed through the two terminals, with the busiest single day registering over 63,000 travellers.

 

During these peak months, ramp access, catering schedules, helicopter slots and VIP lounge availability can be highly constrained — early coordination and reservation are strongly recommended. Outside of the height of summer, spring (April-May) and early autumn (September) also offer excellent windows for premium service with slightly lower congestion levels.
